Shampoo Bars are becoming more and more popular. It’s logical, when you consider the many benefits they have: Shampoo Bars are mostly natural, free of plastic and caring and cleansing for your hair. In addition, the range is also growing enormously: more and more Shampoo Bars are available.
There are Shampoo Bars for greasy hair, but also Bars that counteract dandruff. There is a Shampoo Bar for every hair type.
So get to know our Shampoo Bars today that are changing the hair world like a storm.
Simply put, it is also ‘just’ a shampoo. The difference is that a Shampoo Bar is in solid form, rather than in a bottle.
A Shampoo Bar resembles a bar of soap due to its solid shape. However, the ingredients are similar to those of a liquid shampoo. Your hair is cleaned and cared for in the same way.
The biggest difference (and advantage!) of a Shampoo Bar compared to the traditional bottle is in the packaging. No plastic is required for production, transport and storage. In addition, a Shampoo Bar lasts much longer than a normal bottle of shampoo.
The HappySoaps Shampoo Bars (70 grams) can be used between 90 and 110 times, depending on use and storage method.
For the most part, our Shampoo Bars consist of natural substances and ingredients. Are you curious about the exact composition of your Shampoo Bar, check here the product pages.
If you’re used to using bottled shampoo in your hands or on your head, you’ll probably have to get used to this new method (but once you’re used to it, you won’t want to change it). You can easily use a Shampoo Bar in four steps:
- First, remove the Shampoo Bar from its plastic-free packaging.
- Then rub the Shampoo Bar between your palms with wet hands to create a foam.
- Use the foam to soap your hair. Carefully massage the foam through your hair. You can also do it faster, but by massaging you shake all the oil and other dirt out of your hair.
- Enjoy the wonderful wash and rinse your hair thoroughly afterwards. Voila!
You get the most out of the Shampoo Bar if you let it dry in a dry place after every use .
Simple answer: We don’t use SLS or SLeS but we use SCS (made from Coco oil)
Long answer: Surfactants are made using the fatty acids found in oils like coconut and palm. Oils contain a variety of fatty acids, like lauric, palmitic and myristic. Fatty acids differ only by how long their carbon chains are in the molecules. SLS uses only lauric acid (usually from palm oil), which means it is a phenomenally effective cleanser. Sometimes too effective – too harsh for our products. Sodium coco sulfate (SCS) is a mix of all of the fatty acids from coconut oil, including lauric, which means it is milder, but still produces that lather we want.
